Making a purchase
Add your items to the cart, check over the contents of your shopping cart to ensure you have the right items in there, if you have any discount codes you can also enter them in on this page before moving on to checkout – once there we’ll need you to enter in a few details about where to send your order. We use PayPal to handle our online transactions. You do not require a PayPal account in order to pay through PayPal. PayPal can process credit or debit card payments made by non members.
If you are unhappy with using PayPal we can take orders at the phone or by email in which case advance payment must be made by cheque or bankers payment.
The products are designed for self-assembly. You will receive a pack of wooden (MDF) components. Photos of the finished models are examples of what can be achieved, we do not sell assembled and painted models. The kits provide sufficient components to build the illustrated model(s). To create a copy of an illustrated model you will need other materials and tools including paint, sandpaper, craft-knife. Models push-fit together but gluing (PVA wood glue) is recommended to make completed models stronger. A small soldering task will improve the durability/reliability of electrical components.
We will send your parcel out within 2 working days of receiving payment. We only ship to the UK, Europe, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Shipping rates can vary depending on the size and weight of order and the destination of the parcel. For deliveries to non-UK Mainland destinations or if you are ordering separate components we will establish shipping costs once we have the details of your requirements. Delivery times can also vary depending on how far the parcel needs to travel to reach you. UK mainland deliveries typically arrive in 2-3 days but can take longer especially at busy periods (such as the lead-up to Christmas).
International deliveries may be subject to import taxes, duties and other handling fees outside our control, these are your responsibility.
As soon as you receive your order, check off the parts enclosed with a copy of your order invoice (contents of building sets are listed on their product pages). We take great care to ensure kits are complete and fault-free, however if any parts are faulty or missing we will send out replacements within 2 working days of advice.
We offer a 7 day return policy in compliance with the UK Consumer Rights Directive. No refund is available if the items are not packed properly or the recipient has started to build the kit such that parts are missing, glued, painted or damaged. Return postage is the customer’s responsibility.
We are not VAT registered and International deliveries may be subject to import taxes, duties and other handling fees outside our control, these are your responsibility.
